7. How to change the Ink Cartridge in a Diva Charm Ballpoint Pen
This pen takes a Parker style refill, like this
This pen unscrews at the finial end of the pen, which is the part that makes the writing point extend. Hold the pen in both hands as in the photograph and twist the finial end, with the crystal on it, towards you. The end will unscrew to reveal the ink cartridge.
Remove the spent cartridge and replace with a new one. If the spring comes out (doesn't always happen, don’t worry!) Make sure you put it on the end of the new cartridge, if it does. Insert into the nib end tube. Best way to do this is to hold the ink cartridge vertically and put the pen tube over it, that way you don't have to deal with gravity!
Check that there is spring resistance when you depress the end of the ink cartridge. Then reassemble.

8. How to change the Ink Cartridge in a Cavendish Pen
This pen takes a Parker style refill, like this
This pen pulls apart, hold the pen in two hands and gently pull apart at the nib feature band. This will reveal the pen’s twist mechanism.
DO NOT be tempted to unscrew the pen. It will unscrew but you will be left with part of the twist transmission being left in the upper barrel, which may prove problematic. Best practice is to pull it apart!
Now unscrew the twist mechanism to reveal the ink cartridge. The twist mechanism is made up of 2 parts. If you hold the end nearest the tip it should undo in 1 piece, however if you hold it higher up the mechanism it may undo in 2 pieces. This does not matter.
Replace the ink cartridge with a quality replacement. Reassembly is the reverse procedure.
Make sure the metal threads mesh smoothly, check that the tip extends as you wish.
